Financial institutions, governments, insurance and warranty companies also have to move to social distancing and limiting interaction. What took hours, will now take days or longer. Everyone will be looked after by them, but it will take time… stay calm.
No one is coming to take your vehicle away today if you miss a payment your bank should work with you... We cannot contact or act on the behalf of your Bank, Finance Institution, Warranty Company, Gap Insurance or Walkaway Provider due to Consumer Information Protection Laws. They will fulfill their contracts with you. It will take time. We are all affected by this.
It is better to be safe than sorry, in support of flattening the curve and doing the right thing. Jim Gilbert’s Wheels & Deals Canada’s Huggable Car and PowerSports Dealer will be closing tomorrow at 5pm Friday, March 20th.
Our team means everything to us and we have asked them to stay home next week, they will receive full pay and benefits. This is the Gilbert’s Family way to help our Wheels and Deals family do their part.
We hope all of our customers understand and appreciate this unprecedented decision. Under PNB guidelines we technically can stay open but feel shutting down for one week is best. The health of our team is paramount.

In my 41 years of business I would never have believed we would be shutting down for any reason. But I am glad we worked very hard over the years and are able to help our team today. We ask our customers for their support and pray everyone understands.
